Meet the Family
WE'RE HERE TO SERVE YOU
Pizza Villa is LaGrange’s first Italian restaurant. It was opened in 1968 by Bartlett Brother’s Inc. on Commerce Avenue. It was then purchased on April 1, 1975 by Barry and Donna Bartlett and their three children, Bo, Melanie, and Michael. In 1985, they started the delivery and movie rental portion of the business; you could then have Pizza Villa delivered to your door plus a movie (VHS). There was no other fine dining restaurant that offered “dinner and a movie rental,” right to your doorstep. In 1995, Pizza Villa was relocated to Lafayette Parkway.
Barry was diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and sadly passed away in 2006. In 2013, Michael Bartlett and his wife, Whitney purchased Pizza Villa from Donna. On April 1, 2019, Barry and Donna’s oldest son, Bo Bartlett and his wife, Sheree purchased Pizza Villa, exactly 44 years to the day that Barry and Donna purchased Pizza Villa in 1975.
Till this day you will still see the “sweet, smiling face of Pizza Villa,” Donna Bartlett, waiting to greet you, as she did from the very beginning when Pizza Villa was purchased by Barry and Donna in 1975.
Thank you very much for your continued support of your local family owned business! You will see Bo and/or Sheree every night at Pizza Villa to greet you while working to make sure that you have the best dining experience.
